Goody

Goody is an artist and creative with a natural eye for bold design, pop culture, and the kinds of pieces that immediately catch people’s attention. His work combines hands-on creativity with a strong instinct for what makes a design fun, recognizable, and marketable.
At Whaling City Masterworks, Goody is also the driving force behind much of our online presence and sales. He photographs our work, manages online listings across platforms like Etsy and Facebook Marketplace, contributes to social media, and helps determine how our work is presented and marketed online.
He is also a natural relationship-builder, regularly connecting with fellow artists and small business owners, exchanging ideas, encouraging their work, and finding opportunities to collaborate. That combination of creativity, marketing instinct, and community connection makes him an important part of both the artistic and business sides of Whaling City Masterworks.

Goody's Story
Goody’s path as an artist is a little unconventional. Although creativity has always come naturally to him, he only recently began seriously turning that ability into finished artwork and products. What quickly emerged was a distinct point of view—bold, recognizable, often nostalgic, and strongly influenced by the things he genuinely enjoys.
But Goody’s creative strength extends beyond making the work itself. He has an instinct for recognizing what people will connect with, how a piece should be photographed and presented, and where it might find its audience. That has naturally made him a major part of Whaling City Masterworks’ online sales, product photography, marketing, and social media.
He also genuinely enjoys connecting with other artists and small business owners—sharing ideas, offering encouragement, talking through challenges, and looking for ways people can work together rather than compete. As Whaling City Masterworks has grown, that combination of artist, marketer, and connector has become a defining part of his role.

Norse Art
Inspired by Norse mythology, symbolism, and Viking imagery, Goody’s Norse collection explores powerful figures, symbols, creatures, and stories through his own visual style. These pieces combine his interest in the subject with bold designs suited to wood art, décor, and display.
Retro Pop Art
Nostalgia plays a major role in Goody’s work. His retro pop art draws inspiration from classic video games, movies, television, characters, and the visual culture he grew up with, transforming familiar influences into colorful handmade pieces with a playful, distinctly retro feel.
